Restorative Dentistry Near Gainesville, FL

Restorative dentistry repairs, replaces, and rebuilds teeth that have been damaged, decayed, or lost. At Radiant Dentistry in Newberry, Dr. Williams handles the full scope of restorative treatment in-house, including procedures that most general dental offices refer to specialists. Whether you need a single crown or a complete full-arch restoration, you’ll work with the same doctor from the first consultation through the final result.

WHAT DOES RESTORATIVE DENTISTRY COVER?

Restorative dentistry addresses teeth that have been compromised by decay, damage, infection, or loss. Treatment ranges from a single filling or crown to complex reconstruction involving implants, bone grafting, and multiple restorations across the entire mouth. The goal in every case is the same: restore function, protect what’s remaining, and produce a result that holds up long-term. At Radiant Dentistry, the full range of restorative options is available in one office, with one doctor.

THE FICOI DIFFERENCE

Dr. Sean Williams holds a Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI), a post-doctoral credential in implant surgery, bone grafting, and full-mouth rehabilitation held by fewer than 10% of general dentists nationally. For restorative patients, this means implant placement, implant restoration, bone grafting, oral surgery, and complex full-arch cases are managed in-house without referrals. Patients from Newberry, Gainesville, Alachua, and across the region come to Radiant Dentistry specifically because they can complete the entire scope of their treatment with one provider.

NEW PATIENTS AND TREATMENT PLANNING

Every restorative case starts with a comprehensive exam, digital X-rays, and a clear treatment plan. If you haven’t been seen in a while, or if you’re dealing with a situation that’s been getting worse, the first appointment is where Dr. Williams assesses what’s there and lays out what needs to happen and in what order. You’ll have a cost estimate and a realistic timeline before anything is scheduled. Call 352-354-3601 or request an appointment online.

Restorative Dentistry Services

All-on-4

Full-arch tooth replacement using four strategically placed implants to support a complete set of fixed teeth. Designed for patients with significant tooth loss or failing teeth who want a permanent, non-removable solution. Dr. Williams places and restores All-on-4 in-house as an FICOI-credentialed implant dentist.

Dental Bridges

A fixed restoration that replaces one or more missing teeth by spanning the gap between two anchor teeth or implants. Traditional bridges are cemented permanently and don’t require surgery. Implant-supported bridges are available for longer spans or when adjacent teeth aren’t suitable anchors.

Dental Crowns

A custom-made cap that fits over a damaged, weakened, or root canal-treated tooth to restore its strength and appearance. Same-day CEREC crowns are available at Radiant Dentistry for patients who want the procedure completed in one appointment without a temporary crown or lab wait.

Dental Implant Restoration

The crown, bridge, or other prosthetic component placed on top of an osseointegrated implant. If your implants were placed elsewhere, Dr. Williams can fabricate and place the restoration. If the full procedure is done at Radiant Dentistry, placement and restoration are managed by the same doctor.

Dental Implants

A titanium post placed into the jawbone to replace a missing tooth root, then restored with a crown on top. The only tooth replacement option that prevents bone loss. Dr. Williams places implants in-house using 3D CT imaging for precise surgical planning, without referring patients to a separate oral surgeon.

Endodontics

Endodontic treatment addresses infection or damage inside the tooth, most commonly through root canal therapy. Root canals remove infected pulp, clean the canals, and seal the tooth so it can continue functioning. Dr. Williams performs root canals in-house for most cases.

Full & Partial Dentures

Custom-fabricated removable prosthetics that replace all or most of the teeth in one arch. Modern dentures are fitted precisely over multiple appointments with a try-in stage before the final appliance is delivered. Snap-in denture upgrades are available for patients who want implant-supported stability.

Root Canals

Root canal treatment removes infected or damaged pulp from inside the tooth, cleans the canals, and seals everything to stop the infection and save the tooth. Same-day appointments are available for patients in acute pain. A crown is typically placed afterward to protect the treated tooth.

Snap-In Dentures

Implant-supported dentures that click onto two or more implants for a fit that doesn’t shift or require adhesive. Removable for cleaning, but held firmly in place during the day. Dr. Williams handles the full process, implant placement through denture delivery, in-house.
